After waiting a whole year, I finally got my hands on a Raspberry Pi. For those who aren't familiar, the Raspberry Pi is a microcontroller that was made to bring computer science to grade school. It's mostly popular because it's a $25 supercomputer.
A year ago it would've taken 4-6 weeks to grab one of these because of such high demand. I grabbed mine from Adafruit, a great resource for independent engineers to purchase parts and to learn.
I picked up some extra treats to make sure that I would be up-and-running asap. I also got a RGB LED matrix panel since I plan on displaying a live twitter feed on it for my first project.
I've been a bit busy with work, but I can't wait to start getting stressed out with code and bringing everything together.
