Opening night of my first gallery exhibit, Whoop This Arcade, was a huge success! I transformed the House of Vans space into a playable arcade with 6 custom hand-built arcade cabinets and 3 customs games developed for the show. Big thanks to everyone that made it out. Make sure to check it out if you’re in London – the exhibition is open through December 6th :]
Had a lot of fun directing Niska’s music video for Reseaux Remix featuring Quavo and Stefflon Don. The first version of the approved treatment was cancelled due to some conflict. Luckily I was given a second chance to rewrite the treatment for animation. Thanks to the change, I was able to work with Ethan Redd again who killed it handling all of the heavy lifting 3D/animation.
I often work behind the scenes, but for this piece I had the chance to work in front of the camera with Champs Sports for the launch of the Puma RS-0. I was tasked with re-imagining the shoe by flipping it into a video game. Cinema 4D, Substance Painter, and Unity were the tools I used to put everything together.
Made it back to Japan for my 4th time in a row. Each visit to Japan gets better and better, I don’t see myself getting tired of it ever. This time around, I spent a lengthy 20 days in Japan. Here are some pics from the trip(don’t forget to check out more after the jump).
