Had a lot of fun directing Niska’s music video for Reseaux Remix featuring Quavo and Stefflon Don. The first version of the approved treatment was cancelled due to some conflict. Luckily I was given a second chance to rewrite the treatment for animation. Thanks to the change, I was able to work with Ethan Redd again who killed it handling all of the heavy lifting 3D/animation.
I often work behind the scenes, but for this piece I had the chance to work in front of the camera with Champs Sports for the launch of the Puma RS-0. I was tasked with re-imagining the shoe by flipping it into a video game. Cinema 4D, Substance Painter, and Unity were the tools I used to put everything together.
Made it back to Japan for my 4th time in a row. Each visit to Japan gets better and better, I don’t see myself getting tired of it ever. This time around, I spent a lengthy 20 days in Japan. Here are some pics from the trip(don’t forget to check out more after the jump).
Instead of being stuck in LA during a heatwave for Labor Day, my girlfriend and I decided that it would be cool to spend the holiday weekend up north in Seattle, Washington. Neither of us have been there before and being the adventurous people we are, we just needed to hop on a plane somewhere. Luckily, Seattle was the perfect spot.
I don’t really hide how much of a geek I am anymore. I enjoy building computers, developing apps, and I also work at a tech company. In addition to all of that, I’m heavily into the game Overwatch right now. I started playing on Xbox, but things got way more serious once I made the switch to gaming on PC at the beginning of 2017…
I’ve been to multiple gaming events, but this was my first time attending an eSports event and Blizzard did not let me down. Everything from the broadcast production to the energetic crowd really emulated an arena sporting event. I can’t wait to go to another one, hopefully that will be at Blizzcon :].
