I recently partnered up with Alexander Spit to do VFX on his latest music video “FACEMELTER”. It was a fun project, I had a blast working with Spit and the director of the music video, David Gallardo. There’s a lot of glitch-trip VFX I put into the video, Check it out below!!!
FACEMELTER VFX ON KSB
WHOOPI GETS RUDE!
I think I’m finally fully recovered from Coachella, guys. Going both weekends definitely wasn’t easy for me, but I got threw it and had blast…
A couple weeks prior to Coachella, I spent tons of hours rehearsing with The Airplanes Boys. They grabbed an evening spot at the Gobi tent on Sunday and I was lucky enough to be handling the stage production for their set(hence the reason why I was there for both weekends).
Our awesome publicists, Kristen, was killing it with booking interviews for the guys. I never ran around to so many interviews before, it’s was lot of work!
Since I was fortunate enough to go to both Coachella weekends, I made sure to see as many artists as possible(and Dre & Snoop TWICE!). I’m super stoked that I was given the opportunity to work Coachella again(first time was when I partnered with Jason Bentley in 2010). I had a blast working with The Airplane Boys, they’ve made me realize why Canada stays outputting amazing artists. Super thanks to them for bringing me out.
Whether I’m in the audience making new FB friends or backstage watching A$AP Rocky w/ Rihanna(Seriously, IT HAPPENED!), Coachella stays being one of the main events I look forward to each year. This was my 4th year in a row going and I’m counting the days until Coachella 2013. Can you say “Daft Punk”?
Last week was jam packed with work, friends, and kittens.. It may not sound insane, but it definitely was!!
There was a lot going on at the office where I work. Photoshoots were in session, Snoop was in the house, and Too $hort was throwing around his favorite word.
We’ve also been in production on a TV show for about 2 and half months now. It’s been a wild ride!
When the weekend hit, it was time to overeat some cake and hang with friends at Meagans birthday party.
I don’t care what anyone says, ending your week with a dwarf-cat is the BEST way to end your week!
Last Sunday, thanks to Alexander Spit, The Hundreds took me out to San Francisco to do visuals for their The Hundreds and Diamond Supply Co. ‘Forever Summer’ party…
Once I arrived in SF, the first thing I could think about was food.
Though this was only a 24hr trip, I had a chunk of free time to wander the streets of SF.
Once the sun went down, it was time for me to head over to the venue, Public Works, and setup to do some live visuals.
It was a wild show! The event ended around two, right afterward we all headed back on the bus so it could take us back to LA.
Every couple of weeks or so, Snoop comes into the office to shoot some stuff for his online-audience.
This time around, the shoot was focused on the holiday season.
Glen came through, I believe he was grabbing clips for Glentourage.
This is what things usually look like, I wish I would’ve captured the huge entourage that came as well.
Nick shooting the topics to Dogg.
Overall it was a pretty chill 8hr shoot.
