Last weekend I partnered up with my team over at RudeTOON Records to work on a music video for Marvel the Gr8‘s next single, “Sippin'”. We linked with William Carnahan for direction on the vid and Sam Shimizu-Jones for camera work. They brought over their team to help with production, I handled dumping the footage from the Scarlet since I will be editing the footage…
Our friend, Sean, who produced the song, was kind enough to let us shoot at his place in Los Feliz.
Our camera of choice was the RED Scarlet. We shot 2k for most of the shoot(and some 4k stuff here and there).
When I wasn’t on set, I was on my laptop reviewing shots, backing up footage, and prepping the clips for the transcoding process. Losing our footage is the last thing we would want to happen.
We had the RudeTOON cat, Mini Kitty aka Taco aka Gracie, on set with us as well!!!
The shoot went incredibly well. Our team was on point!
Our cast was awesome too!
It was great working with all our friends on this one. Usually I’m stuck in the office working on projects, so I forget how much fun it is to work with your good buddies on set. It was super fun times, thanks to everyone for their hard work!!!
I spent last weekend working on set for The Airplane Boy’s new music for their new track featuring Twista(produced by Diplo). We had a blast when we partnered up for The Airplane Boy’s Coachella performance, it was awesome to be working with them again…
It was a fun 14hr shoot in San Pedro. Our director, Colin Pierce, had everything running smoothly from the first shot to the last. My role on set was DIT and VFX supervisor, I had to make sure our RED footage was dumped securely and our VFX shots were marked properly so that they’ll be good for post. It was definitely a long day, but the crew was determined to have a successful shoot. Now it’s time for some post-production, where I’ll be handling the VFX.
I recently partnered up with Alexander Spit to do VFX on his latest music video “FACEMELTER”. It was a fun project, I had a blast working with Spit and the director of the music video, David Gallardo. There’s a lot of glitch-trip VFX I put into the video, Check it out below!!!

WHOOPI GETS RUDE!
Summer is finally here, hopefully that means that LA will stop looking all gloomy. Luckily, the opening weekend to Summer wasn’t a gloomy one at all. Since I was free from work, I had the opportunity to enjoy the Cali sunshine with friends…
Saturday – The Standard
My Saturday was spent on the rooftop of The Standard. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to splash it up in the pool because I forgot my swimming trunks. Good thing none of my friends went swimming.
Most of us were here to see this guy(Doc P) mix it uuuup!!
Do you guys know Rachel aka Maxstaar? Get familiar.
Sunday – Skeet Skeet Music Video Shoot
Let’s just say that my buddy, Trevor aka DJ Skeet Skeet, had a 200ft slip N slide for his music video shoot!!
Had a blast this weekend, I made sure to stay out for most of it. Now I gotta prep for a 12hr shoot with Snoop. See ya laters!!
