Peace 2009(09 wrap up)

I never really “look back”, I always keep looking forward and make sure I head in that direction as well. Writing this post has forced me to look back into my past adventures and experiences… Wow, I’m forever having a great time, and that’s what life should be about, right? 2009 was another epic year for me. I’m a 19 year-old in Los Angeles who runs around the city meeting amazing people, working on projects, learning(the hard and easy way), teaching others, and forever doing everything with a smile. I love life and I refuse to have any regrets. Now, Let’s get started with the highlights of my 2009….

The best way to spend labor day

Everyone come out! This will be my 3rd year going and it’s going to be loads of fun! Great music, good food, and chill people. See you guys there!

The Hundreds block party has been CANCELLED. Unfortunately, The Labor Day event is no longer going to happen. I was super bummed after reading the whole breakdown of the situation. I was fortunate to go to the 2nd(All Work. All Play.) and 3rd(The Payoff) annual block parties that TH threw and I had a blast! *SIGH* Time to figure out some new plans. Check out the post HERE for all the details.

The Hundreds: The Payoff 9/1/08

Last year I ended my summer with The Hundreds: All Work All Play block party. This year, I decided to end it with TH once again. This was going to be in the Labor Days post but it definitely deserve its own.

My homie Carlos picked me up and we headed out.

Once we got to Melrose I introduced Carlos to the best frozen yogurt that he has ever had. He had two cups.

Before hitting RSWD, we chilled with Bailey at FCLA. The heat was killer, and they had air conditioning. L.A. fly shit – Bailey.

We then hit up the block party.

Switch on the new BB. Candid shot homie!
Check the sticker .

The line was killer for food. But it was free…”as usual”

The three words I heard from my homie while walking towards the cops as I took some “lowkey” ninja pics.

Ben and Bobby handling.

This guy….I’m pretty sure you would see him at Dim Mak Tuesday’s. Well, he was dancing his ass of to Gina’s mix. When he stopped, we talked and he was telling me how the people just weren’t hyped. He actually wanted other people around to start dancing. It’s ok bro…I wanted to dance, but couldn’t. Good shit DJ Gina Turner!

Marz was killing it with the flows.

All went well…hence the thumbs up from Bobby.

Here are some more pictures from the block party.

A Day in the Life of Whoopi – Supreme

So I received a message from my friend Carlos(SolexLife) inviting me to camp out for Supreme’s release of their new Spring line. Since he didn’t have anyone to go with I decided to tag along with him.

So my day started around 12 something A.M. when I posted my last blog before I went to sleep.

I woke up at 6:25 then I got washed up and what not.

Afterwards I got on my school bus and put in my headphones so I wouldn’t be listening to these loud ass teens.

Once I arrived at school I met up with my friend Carlos(SolexLife)

We left school and headed towards the bus stop.

The bus finally came.

Then we got off the bus and walked.

Then got on another bus.

And one more bus.

We finally got to Fairfax and started walking towards Supreme.

After all the walking we finally reached our destination, Supreme. Now it was time to wait in line.

While waiting in line I decided to eat a PB&J that Carlos made so we could have something to eat while waiting in line.

The line only became longer. Luckily, it wasn’t that long when we got there.

“OMG IS THAT!!! WALE?!?!?”

No, I lied, it’s just my older brother whom decided to join us.

We also met some pretty chill as people.

This guy(I think his name is Alex) is fucking hilarious, he made waiting in line a lot more fun.

So while being bored in this line…..

I decided to go photography status.

This guy was trying to sell his beads by jamming them into people’s faces lol.

We were getting closer to the door. Unfortunately, they sold out the shirt I wanted to get, so everything now was just for fun.

This guy looked like he was going to kill some people…..he didn’t.

So we went in and went out. Over, it was pretty chill day.
