I never really “look back”, I always keep looking forward and make sure I head in that direction as well. Writing this post has forced me to look back into my past adventures and experiences… Wow, I’m forever having a great time, and that’s what life should be about, right? 2009 was another epic year for me. I’m a 19 year-old in Los Angeles who runs around the city meeting amazing people, working on projects, learning(the hard and easy way), teaching others, and forever doing everything with a smile. I love life and I refuse to have any regrets. Now, Let’s get started with the highlights of my 2009….
The day I’ll never forget.
The A.C.E. Eddie awards was the first award show I’ve ever been too. So many amazing workers in one place.
I was given a great opportunity to work with the Motion Picture Sound Editors. I’ll never forget the moment when I saw the work I edited shine on the faces of the top producers, directors, and sound designers of the industry. I was even on stage at one point for a scholarship I won through them, here’s the CLIP.
I can’t count how many times I’ve partied/celebrated with the Ed Banger crew, but I must say that partying with them on Busy P’s birthday at Cinespace was the most epic one!
If you know me at all you would know that I have the BIGGEST crush on Zoe Kravitz. When she had a show out here in LA I immediately made my way out to the Roxy to see her band perform
Though I do have a part-time job at a computer store, I do happen to work/intern with other people in different fields. This year alone I’ve worked with Motion Picture Sound Editors, American Apparel, The Hundreds, TalentoLA, HARD, and New Visions Foundation(there are more companies I just can’t remember them at the moment :/). Super thanks to every company and person who has helped me become more and more experienced, I REALLY do appreciate all the opportunities. Thank you.
2009 was tons of fun. Tons of new and exciting stuff coming in 2010 from Whoop This!, make sure you stay tuned!!!!!
