I’m a huge Ed Banger fan. HUGE! When I heard(via Twitter) this morning that Ed Banger member, DJ Mehdi, passed away… I froze….

This pic was taken on new years about a year and a half ago at HARD. I’ve met DJ Mehdi several times and no matter what event we’re at, he’s always been the nicest dude no matter what situation he’s in. RIP, Mehdi. You’ll be missed.

This weekend I took  2 hours away from work to visit SUPER iam8bit, a gallery showcasing classic videogame-inspired art, out in Echo Park…

It was a fun event, I was glad I didn’t miss out. Luckily, I was able to make it to the last night of the gallery. I even purchased a piece by one of my favorite 8bit artist, Paul Robertson.
