Hi touchpad

About two weeks ago HP announced that they would be discontinuing their HP TouchPad tablet. A day or so after this was announced, said tech corporation slashed the price of it’s tablet dramatically! Once news hit the interwebs, geeks all around were adding this piece of technology to their virtual carts… Including myself…

img_8578 Today I got a nice package in the mail today from Hewlett Packard… I know that I’m a huge Apple fanboy/geek/groupie, but I had to grab the HP TouchPad when I heard about it’s price drop. I’m a sucker for great technology and software, so I knew it was something I could use for productivity.

I love the look, feel, and flow of the TouchPad. Compared to other tablets I’ve used in the past that weren’t the iPad, I was pretty surprised how well it performed. Hardware aside, the operating system is pretty bau5(boss). Props to Palm(creator) for building such an incredible piece of software, No-props to HP for kinda giving up(maybe? we’ll see…). The OS works well with the TouchPad’s hardware. A lot of companies forget that software and hardware MUST go hand-in-hand and the TouchPad’s hardware WORKS with WebOS. Overall, it’s an awesome peiece of technology. I really hope it’s given another chance, because it really does have potential.

#Whoopmau5

Lulz. I think I’ve been tweeting that all week. Here’s why…

About 2 weeks ago Jason Bentley contacted me about doing some live visuals for his set. I’ve worked with Jason on two other occasions(Coachella and the Tron installation at Comic Con), and it’s always been good times. As I read more into the email, he brought up that he was opening for Deadmau5. I kinda geeked out and was incredibly stoked…

I had a blast doing visuals for Jason’s set, he killed it. I was rear projecting content onto two 13 foot displays. It was waaaay intense! Super thanks to Jason Bentley, XL Video, my iPad and my Macbook Pro :D !

Tech week

COMPUTERS RULE EVERYTHING AROUND ME – C.R.E.A.M.!!!

img_8527 At the beginning of the week my new computer came in. Once again, I saved some cash here and there over summer to get a 27″ 3.4 quad-core i7 iMac. Since it’s going to probably be my last desktop(laptops are getting mad powerful, yo!), I wanted to max it out when it came to specs.

Later in the week,  my new internal HDD came for my Macbook Pro. I was running out of space on my 320GB internal, so I decided to up-it-up by getting a 750gb(7200rpm) HDD. I’m a huge fan of doing my own repairs/upgrades/installations, so I whipped out the torx screwdrivers and went to work. In the beginning of the process, I had to clone my main internal to my new one. I chose to use Super Duper(it’s free!!!) for that job, which worked w/o a problem.

Silly maxstaar…

This is my good buddy, Maxstaar(yes, I know her IRL). She’s a chronic VYou/Twitter user, she’s also obsessed with Donald Glover and believes that I know him personally…

I’ll let him know ;)

Sorry, been busy :\

GGN season 2

I just finished up this edit the other day for Snoop’s double G Network. I’m working on the whole season, and I can tell you now that it’s going to be a fun one!
