Nosaj thing @ El Rey

There’s nothing I love more than seeing creativity at it’s best. The other night I traveled over to the El Rey to see Nosaj Thing…

Nosaj Thing’s performance was nicely complimented by visuals created by Julia Tsao. To be honest, I enjoyed the visual aspect of the performance more than the audio part of it, and for obvious reasons. Everything was exactly on point and interacted with each other just right.

Visual sunday

There’s nothing like dedicating a Sunday to learning and creating. There’s nothing like being productive. There’s nothing like spending the whole day with your computer and super smart programmers/geeks/artists…

img_6788 My day was spent geeking out in a 6-hour visual art workshop with some peeps from LA-VA.org

img_6791 The workshop took place at the MONA(Museum of Neon Art). It was my first time being in said museum, and it was AMAZING! So many glowing objects in one place!

img_6792 It was good times learning under people like VJ Fader, Eric Medine, and Michael Allen. They were all incredibly helpful and used different techniques to display their work.
