By now, I’m sure you guys know that I’m a huge fiend for TECHNOLOGY!!! I love hardware and software, especially if it’s related to anything I do(most of it is). Thanks to Maxon(Cinema 4D), I was able to attend SIGGRAPH 2010 this week which was held at the LA Convention Center. SIGGRAPH is a conference/exhibition focused on computer arts, interactive techniques, and the hardware/software behind it…
There were tons of companies out to show their latest projects. The ones that stood the most for me was Canon(Their augmented reality stuff is so next level!!!), Maxon(I love Cinema 4D), Nvidia(sick graphics cards), Houdini, Intel(sick new processors), ATI, Wacom, and Maya.
Can you believe this?? It’s a 3D printer that scans an item and carves a new one out of the image it took.
The main reason I came was because of Maxon, I got received my pass to SIGGRAPH through them.
Nick(GSG) was there schooling us on some Mograph stuff within C4D.
Tons of great future products and software are coming reeeaally fast! You guys better get ready!
