WHOOP THIS!

I’m sure you guys heard how crazy EDC was this weekend from your friends/facebooks/tweets/feed. Well, it WAS pretty craze. Super last minute, I was called up to work EDC. I was kinda scared because I never done production stuff at rave. I’ve worked Coachella, so I assumed that’ll be somewhat similiar, but I was completely WRONG!!!!…

It’s crazy how fast a place can fill up full of hyped up kids who’re ready to rage!!!

I was 1st AC/camera operator for the 2nd crane at the Kinetic stage. It was insane all the equipment we got to worked with.

This is what I used to control the zoom and focus while the camera was on the crane.

We worked on some pretty huge performances like Afrojack, Laidback Luke, Deadmau5, Benny Benassi(those are some that you may be familiar with) and a lot more.

iPhone 4!!!!!

There’s not too many days I have off to enjoy a full day of sun in the mountains with friends. I always enjoy being out in nature, actually, it may be one of my favorite things to do, especially when I’m with friends…

Ron, Taura, Lauren, and I spent our afternoon in Temescal Canyon.

While hiking around, we would find mini-caves that we were really attempted to go into.

I don’t usually watch much TV, but when I do, my choice of entertainment is usually an animated series. I guess it’s the inner-kid in me who’ll always be stuck to Cartoon Network after a hard day of work. I’m a HUGE fan of Spongebob Square Pants, Doug, Angry Beavers, Cow and Chicken, As Told by Ginger, Futurama, The Simpsons, Pokémon, Rocket Power, Rugrats, ATHF, Adventure Time, Aaahhh!!! Real Monsters, and tons of others I can’t remember right now. Here are my top my super favs…

There are certain items that I need with me to make it through the day. Some people carry beauty products, books, moleskins, glasses, drugs… etc. I on the other hand, carry a couple of items that have helped me out a lot this year…

My everyday essentials aren’t anything special, but it’s enough for me to travel, communicate, create, and share. Being an “artist” or whatever I am, these few tools alone have helped me get jobs, make connections, make last minute changes, and have fun.

Not gonna lie… I have some pretty cool friends. Srsly, I’m so stoked over everyone I hang out with… Maybe it’s just me?? Well… My good friend, Sasha, just came back in town From New York. She recently finished up her sophomore year at Marymount Manhattan. The day after she she landed in LA,  she found out that I was free and stranded in my house, I was then picked up to run around LA with her…

Our first stop was the J Brand warehouse. Sasha’s dad is the “J” in J Brand, which is pretty cool. We roamed around the whole building, from accounting to design.

We ran into our buddy Evan who is surprisingly a REALLY good rapper. I know, RIGHT!?!?

It was fun times in Downtown.

Our night was well spent at the Roxy for a dubstep show. It was definitely wild times and good to see our homies.

Hey guys, sorry I’ve been away from the blog for a bit, kinda been caught up in life. All is well, recently I’ve been finalizing all work to send out to companies, meeting new people, and looking out for new projects to work on(things are kinda slowing down :/…). I must stay productive or I’ll kinda go cray-cray, I’m sure something fun and exciting will pop-up soon .

ANYWAAAAYS!!! Today was Memorial Day, a lot of people celebrated this day at a BBQ, music festival, celebrating a Bday, or even inside with their computer. I on the other hand, celebrated Memorial Day with some old and new friends….

Friends and supporters took their time out to join Henry to create a mural in memory of his father, Dennis Hopper.

It was a fun get together in Venice. Though there is still more work to be done, you can catch the piece on Brooks and Pacific.

We then headed out together to Abbot Kenney to converse and grab some beverages at a nearby cafe.
