WHOOP THIS!

Saturday was the day to RAGE at HARD 13 at Club Nokia in Downtown LA. I was super stoked to see Jack Beats and Fake Blood perform, but I did NOT expect to see Deadmau5 at ALL!!!! I’m not a raver but I am a sucker for electro/bassy music any day…

HARD 13 was a HUUUGE success, even though it was at a weird venue(I think Club Nokia is kinda odd). I’m pretty pumped for HARD with Soulwax!! Can’t wait! Check out more ravers and stuff after the JUMP!

My weekend was fully NON-STOP!!! I seriously don’t now how I made it to work… or even out of bed!!! Friday’s epicness started out with me hitting up Hwood for Peaches birthday…

Hwood was craaaze, there was so much candy and friends that I didn’t expect to be there.

I’m back! Sorry that I’ve been gone forever, but I’ve been whoring my work around town which has caused me to have no great adventures to share with you guys. Luckily, I was called in to work with commercial/print professional photographer, Bob Grigg. Bob actually use to be one of my teachers when I was in film school and I was pretty stoked when I found out that I was actually going to be working with him on a shoot…

Though I don’t consider myself a photographer at all, I do have a pretty solid understanding of lighting and setting up some equipment. Bob was stoked when he found this stuff out about me, he originally just needed a grip to do basic stuff(lighting, carrying heavy stuff, and break down set). He was even more stoked when I was able to set-up his pocket wizards, his Canon 1D with tethering in aperture, and assist him during the shoot. I kinda turned into the go-to computer-geek-techguy for the shoot.

I was having tons of fun setting up lights and Bob’s camera to tether so we wouldn’t have to pop out his memory card into the computer to preview the pics.

Once I was done setting up, I started playing with the bears for a bit… They both wanted to sleep waaaay more than play :/…

I then wandered around his place for a bit(aka my future place…).

Did you know that Bob is one of the main photogs for Hell’s Angels? Well he is, and I think that’s AWESOME!

The was going incredibly well!

My film school buddy, Tracy, was also there! She works with Bob regularly. Tracy was the one who actually got me the job, thanks again!!!

After the successful shoot, Tracy and I met up with Jade(she works for the Jonas Bros., wah1?!?) and chatted it up for a bit. It was all fun.

It was awesome to have another productive day. Definitely looking forward to more set work in the future. Check out more pics after the JUMP!

Epicness is brewing on Skins!!!

Today was a full day of filming with Alexander Spit. About 2-3 weeks back, I met Alex in person and we chatted about us collaborating and making some vids for his up and coming project(that info will be released soon). Today we met up to work on some cool stuff that’ll be released soon…

We shot all around the neighborhood, from the taco stand to the arcade.

Afterward we drove out to The Hundreds to capture some more clips.

This chick had a great amount to say about condoms… So, umm… Use them, ok?

Alex and I wrapped things up(no pun intended) at his place. It was a fun/busy day for us, the video should be dropping in the next couple of weeks, don’t sleep! February was filled with productivity for me. I was never home and forever in someones office deep in my computer getting some type of work done for some company.
