Here’s the latest episode of Skins!!!
Nothing makes me feel more like a “business man” than ending my trip to SF early to rush back to LA for a huge award show that I worked on. If you follow me on Twitter, you would know that I’ve been working-working with the Motion Picture Sound Editors. I’ve been busy digitizing and editing together tons of nominees for their award show. If you don’t remember, I also did work for the event last year. It’s been a busy couple of weeks for me, but it all paid off. My day started with me 30,000 feet in the air…
I never really go flying at all, so I was SUPER stoked to be on a plane. Virgin is awesome!!!
The event was packed full of people in the “industry”, I was geeking out so muuuch!!!
I was actually mostly geeking out because ^^THIS^^ guy(Steven Spielberg) was watching my work…
I don’t think you understand… STEVEN SPIELBERG WAS WATCHING MY STUUUUUUUFF!!! What?!?!?! That’s craze!!! *goes to clean pants*…
Had a great time enjoying the event with my film peeps, definitely a night I’ll never forget!!
I just gotta toot my own horn one more time
. Whoopi = Ashten Winger = CREDITS!!!
After a failed attempt of trying to go to Roscoes with some film buddies, I headed over to a coworkers bday party to celebrate. It was an epic/memorable day. Check out more pictures after the JUMP!!!
So right now I’m laying in bed and watching some House. That may sound boring and mellow, but mind you, I had an epic past couple of days. Actually, I left LA to party it up in San Francisco with my friend Bootsy. Craze stuff went down in the bay…
On the way to San Fran, Bootsy and I were stuck in the worst traffic EVER!!! There was an epic accident that made traffic come to a complete stop. Bootsy was crazy/smart enough to turn the vehicle around and peace it towards traffic(ON THE FREEWAY!!!). Surprisingly, it all worked out and we bypassed the accident.
When I arrived to SF, I dropped by USF to say hi to some peeps I knew there.
One of the first places I visited with Bootsy was his old shoe store Harputs(Harputs Market). If you grew up in the area, you would know that Harputs was the main stop shop for footwear(mostly Adidas).
Unfortunately, I only got to explore the store when it had been closed up and cleaned out.
After browsing around the shop, I was taken to the House of Nanking. I was actually told that it’s one of the top Chinese food spots in all of SF. Bootsy had ordered tons of food for us to devour. I must say, the House of Nanking is definitely one of the best Chinese food places I’ve ever been to… EVER!!!
We then did some gallery hopping all around.
Once we were done roaming around the city, we hit up a Levi’s X Opening Ceremony launch party at the Levi’s SF flagship store(it’s huge!!).
There were TONS of designers/artist/geeks around, I knew none because everyone was a known SF person… and I’m from LA :/…
I was actually surprised when I found out that Wallpaper was performing, he killed it! <3 live performances.
SF was super fun. I used my trip more as a learning experience and how life up north compares to my life in LA. Super thanks to Bootsy who drove me around everywhere, shared his knowledge, got me into places, and who invited me over. you’re awesome, man!!!
Back to LA I go for more adventures, check out more pics from SF after the JUMP!!!
Sorry that I was a bit late posting this one, been busy all around! Check out Cook’s episode below!!!
